As the tragedy of Katrina unfolds before our eyes
on television and in the printed media; we, like so many of you, keep
searching for and asking ourselves what we can do to provide some
measure of assistance to those whose lives have been so drastically
changed by the devastation of the hurricane.
Since our normal day to day business involves
helping people rent and/or purchase a wide variety of housing in all
sizes, areas, types, and prices . . . what to do was a fairly
easy decision. How to do it . . . not as simple.
Although we currently have the means to locate
houses, apartments, condos, and townhomes that meet a lot of needs, our real order of business is to
expand our inventory to include shorter term leases, flexible financial
issues, furnishing options, and accommodations for pets. Our
partnership alliances are fantastic and those offering help grows by the
hour.
